Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Naskah harus asli, belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya dalam jurnal ilmiah, naskah
tidak sedang diajukan untuk diterbitkan ditempat lain, dan tidak akan diserahkan kepada
media apapun selama proses seleksi, kecuali penulis telah resmi menarik naskah dari JIPHO
(Jurnal Ilmiah Peternakan Halu Oleo);
2. Mengisi formulir penyataan (sebagai mana terlampir);
3. Naskah merupakan/diangkat dari hasil penelitian hasil penelitian original dan artikel tentang
peternakan seperti sapi, kambing, kerbau, babi, domba, kelinci, kuda, ayam, itik, angsa,
puyuh, dan aneka ternak lainnya.
4. Ruang lingkup JIPHO meliputi pemuliaan dan genetika, reproduksi, fisiologi, nutrisi,
teknologi pakan, hijauan pakan, produksi ternak, bioteknologi, tingkah laku, kesehatan, sistem
peternakan, sosial ekonomi, kebijakan, dan teknologi hasil ternak.
5. Naskah menunjukan kepioneran yang ditentukan oleh kemutakhiran ilmu dan teknologi yang
dikandung (state-of-the-art), kecanggihan sudut pandang dan pendekatan, penguatan ilmu,
kebaruan temuan bagi ilmu yang disajikan, ketuntasan penggarapan, kehebatan teori, serta
ketajaman analisis dan sitesis;
6. JIPHO terbit empat kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan November.
